Palm Pre: Now here comes a new dimension in the Touch Screen Strata, and this is really huge. Palm Pre with its unique panache and features can give even the best (touch screen phones) run for their money.

The Pre’s Web OS UI and and UX really looks great. Looking at this loaded baby, must say Palm has put a lot of thought into the UI, as everything seamlessly works together to give you the best user experience and making the smartphone a really useful tool in your daily life.

The design also reminds me of HTC. So lets discover this beauty a little more.

Design: A multitouch screen that’s absolutely sharp and brilliant in color with its half-VGA (320×480) resolution. The 3.1-inch touchscreen is flush with the face of the device. One can use the screen to navigate, there’s a gesture area right below the display where you can use finger swipes and touches to launch menus, toolbars, applications, go back, or advance (Iphone better be alert). Also slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP is also there.

Web: Web experience on Pre’s browser is pretty amazing and renders sites onscreen as you would see on your desktop.

The Palm Pre offers a 3-megapixel camera.

It is based on the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system and inherits all the business features that will enable users to perform their professional work more profoundly. A 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus and video recording capability is also on board.

The HTC Footprint application has been integrated for the first time in a HTC branded device. It is a special application that acts as a digital postcard by allowing users to snap their special moments on the new HTC Touch.
