Apple-iPad Tablet

Ahhhh the day has come.. after months of hype and speculation, Apple unveiled Wednesday the highly anticipated Tablet.

The Tablet is larger in size but similar in design to Apple’s popular iPhone. It has a 9.7-inch touch screen and weighs 1.5 pounds, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity built in and an option to use AT&T’s 3G data network. Prices start at $499, far below the $1,000 that some analysts were expecting. Versions with more memory cost $100 or $200 more.

My question is: Whether you would want or need such a device, and be willing to pay $499 or more for it. Besides iPad Tablet lacks in many features that should

have been then there:
a) No built-in camera
b) No USB ports
c) No memory card read
d) Keyboard dock sold separately
e) No Adobe Flash support
f) Can only run Apple-sanctioned apps
g) No full GPS support
h) Screen is 4:3 aspect ratio, not 16:9 widescreen

Hope Apple will soon incorporate these features also. Although as far the Brand Apple goes I am sure it’ll do the same.
