Intel inside, celeron, Pentium family, dual core….. are we happy now. No, bound by the human nature we aren’t. We are bound by our DNA not to be satisfied and keep evolving things. Yes enter the world of  Multi Core Processor.

A multi-core processor is an integrated circuit (IC) to which two or more processors have been attached for enhanced performance, reduced power consumption, and more efficient simultaneous processing of multiple tasks.

A multi-processor system is different from a Dual core processor. In the former there are two separate CPUs with their own resources. In the later, resources are shared and the cores reside on the same chip. A multi-processor system is faster than a system with a dual core processor, while a dual core system is faster than a single-core system, all else being equal.

Multi-core processing is a growing industry trend as single core processors rapidly reach the physical limits of possible complexity and speed. Companies that have produced or are working on multi-core products include AMD, ARM, Broadcom, Intel, and VIA.

Technology, Technology and more Technology. Are we driving Technology or are we driven by Technology. Ha ha,, What difference it makes as long as we are benefiting from it. I think some day day we wont require any machines, computers, mobiles or any other gadgets of that sort. Our future generations will be Mutants in such a way that all these technologies will be part of us. What ur say, cast ur Poll…
